Imagine being part of a team responsible for transforming Saudi Arabia's historic and cultural heart into a vibrant, engaging, and inspiring destination. This mixed-use development project will showcase over 300 years of Saudi history, offering heritage, hospitality, education, retail, and dining experiences. Rooted in the principles of new urbanism, this project will include museums, galleries, restaurants, retail spaces, public squares, hotels, recreational areas, residences, educational institutions, and offices. It's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to make history.


As a Senior QA/QC Engineer at Jacobs, you won't just be another team member; you'll be a key player in our site supervision team, ensuring the success and reputation of our company. Here's how you'll make a difference:


  • Create and implement a comprehensive quality control plan, outlining quality standards, testing procedures, and inspection schedules.
  • Ensure all construction activities adhere to codes, regulations, and project specifications by monitoring contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Conduct regular inspections and tests on materials, workmanship, and construction processes to verify compliance with quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of all inspections, tests, and quality control activities, ensuring all documents are complete and up to date.
  • Identify and document any deficiencies or non-conformities and work with the project team to develop corrective action plans.
  • Prepare non-conformance reports and collaborate with contractors and subcontractors to rectify issues.
  • Conduct periodic quality audits to assess the project's overall quality and identify areas for improvement.
  • Review and approve materials and equipment submittals to ensure they meet project specifications and quality requirements.
  • Evaluate proposed change orders to determine their impact on project quality and advise on acceptance or rejection.
  • Provide guidance and training to ensure project personnel, subcontractors, and workers understand and adhere to quality control standards and procedures.
  • Suggest and implement initiatives to enhance the quality control process and reduce defects and errors.
  • Work closely with project managers, engineers, architects, and stakeholders to address quality-related issues and make informed decisions.
  • Ensure safety measures are in place to protect workers and the public, in compliance with regulations.
  • Conduct a final inspection to confirm that all work meets the quality control plan and project requirements. Prepare and organize quality-related documentation for project closeout.

Here’s what you’ll need:


As a successful candidate, you'll be a key player in this ambitious project. 
- You must possess have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as a QA/QC Engineer, preferably in construction or engineering projects.
- Relevant certifications in quality management or quality control are a plus.
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and quality standards.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in quality management software and tools.
- Familiarity with Saudi Arabian construction regulations is advantageous.
