As a Technical Office Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the technical aspects of our construction projects. Your key responsibilities include:
Oversee in generating monthly client invoices, adhering to established procedures, and coordinating with consultants for approval.
Supervise in issuing monthly subcontractor invoices, following the prescribed procedures, and managing the process within the ERP system.
Take charge of coordinating and facilitating approvals for variation orders and claims by collaborating with various head office departments.
Manage the issuance of Submittal Requests (S.R) and Payment Requests (P.R) to subcontractors in close coordination with the Project Manager, Construction Manager, and Procurement Department. Ensure the approvals are obtained through the ERP system.
Maintain control over subcontractor contracts, closely monitoring their performance, compliance with obligations, and adherence to project timelines.
Participate in progress meetings, contributing technical proposals and engaging in constructive discussions.
Maintain meticulous project logs and ensure their ongoing management.
Oversee the development of shop drawings and as-built drawings, ensuring they are delivered on time and meet the quality standards specified by the construction team.
Conduct thorough investigations into project issues as they arise.
Guarantee the seamless transfer of all technical project documents (such as drawings and method of statement documents) to the construction team.
Collaborate with the finance department to coordinate and monitor subcontract payments, minimizing any potential delays that could impact the project's progress.
Provide comprehensive support to the Construction, Project Control, and QHSE departments by furnishing them with the necessary data to produce daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
Contribute to the selection process of subcontractors and suppliers for on-site projects, when required, and keep the contracts department informed of the status and performance of subcontractors and suppliers.
A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
