An exciting opportunity is available for Sr Engineer I, TAM planning Located in Jubail, KSA


Job Purpose:


TAM Planner is responsible for planning and preparation of major Turnaround maintenance activities. He will initiate Scope of work, prepare Turnaround milestones, budget phases follow up, job packages preparation, assign materials and services in work orders, initiate PRs & minutes meetings and develop TAM Closeout reports. Role responsibilities:


  • Shall extract the TAM priority PMs & CM work orders from the SAP system & compile a Work List in a standard format.
  • Shall share the work list to concern TAM core group member for evaluation in case any job not going to execute for any valid reason.
  • Shall develop an initial scope of work based on TAM requirements and conduct a meeting with all concerned disciplines from TAM core group for brief scope of work challenge and approval.
  • Shall present new Additional scope, Scope change, and Deletion to TAM Core group.
  • Shall update approved MOC list, material, and service PR/PO to TAM Core group.
  • Shall use Primavera software to prepare, monitor & report the TAM Milestone KPI for each phase and report the deviation on monthly basis.
  • Shall minute all kickoff meetings & share with TAM Core Group Team.
  • Shall develop a detailed contractor scope of work in conjunction with the applicable Maintenance Supervisor for special services requirements and initiate required PRs.
  • Shall create Job packages for the complete TAM Work List & handover to maintenance focal point to route among TCG members for review & all approvals.
  • Shall request operations to provide decommissioning and commissioning bar chart.
  • Shall develop Pre-TAM Activity schedule, Execution Activity Schedule including decommissioning & commissioning in Primavera.
  • Shall conduct schedule review meetings and incorporate the entire comments and call for final schedule review meeting with entire core group.
  • Shall ensure, all additional jobs are included in TAM execution schedule at least fifteen days before assigning the baseline & shall develop activity code for additional jobs.
  • Shall publish the final TAM Schedule at least four months before TAM Execution Date.
  • Shall calculate daily and cumulative planned percentage for overall schedule and critical path activities and send to Overall TAM Manager & TAM Execution Manager for their review and approval.
  • Shall issue look ahead schedule to execution group leaders.
  • Shall prepare and present daily execution status report to TAM Execution Manager Shall call TAM execution meetings at least one per shift (Day/Night) during TAM 
  • Execution and present the progress status report.
  • Shall monitor the P–P duration compliance starting from de-commissioning to commissioning.
  • Shall analyze the work scope completion status and recommend any necessary action required during execution to complete turnaround on time.
  • Shall ensure the proper closeout of all TAM activities/work orders.
  • Assign technical completion (TECO) for all confirmed work orders.
  • Shall review the job package feedback and update actions as required and ensure the packages are archived electronically in the package library.
  • Shall confirm unused material returned to WH & service Pos/SES issued.
  • Shall arrange for refurbishment of spare components and equipment’s related to TAM.
  • Shall schedule TAM critiques meeting within one month after the plant commissioning date, collect observations and recommendations from each stakeholder and include it in TAM critiques report.
  • Shall compile all the inspection reports, TAM execution major activities and achievements and develop TAM Closeout Report.
  • Responsible for carrying out duties safely and Comply with all the company safety procedures, regulations, and programs.

Qualification and Requirements:


Bachelor’s degree in engineering - Mechanical, Instruments, Electrical or Industrial.


At least 10 years’ experience in the industrial business as Planner.
