We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic thinker to join our team as a Strategic Sourcing Manager. Reporting to the Strategic Sourcing Director, this role will be based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As Strategic Sourcing Manager, you will play a crucial role in providing strategic sourcing support for our Building Solutions business.
Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic sourcing support for the HBS business (Both Service and Project business units)
- Mentor and build a world-class team to support our strategic sourcing efforts.
- Develop and maintain strong internal relationships with stakeholders.
- Support best-in-class bid preparation & negotiations to ensure successful outcomes.
- Drive cost savings at both bid and execution stages.
- Improve working capital by implementing efficient sourcing strategies.
- Develop and maintain a mature subcontractor database.
- Establish mutually beneficial relationships with vendors to position HBS as their customer of choice.
- Identify new opportunities for growth and profitability, thinking outside of the box.
- Leverage your intimate understanding & experience of the local market & industry to help ensure long term sustainable & profitable growth for Honeywell.
- Identify risks and formalize risk mitigation plans
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in strategic sourcing, preferably in Saudi Arabia in a ‘projects’ business (Fire/Security/M&E/ICT/Energy/ELV or any other relevant field)
- Strong business acumen and understanding of the local supply base.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SAP or any sourcing tools.
