STRUCTURAL DRAFTSMAN

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed drawings, plans, and diagrams for concrete structures, including foundations, beams, columns, slabs, and retaining walls.
• Utilize AutoCAD and other drafting software to create accurate and precise drawings.
• Interpret and implement engineering designs, sketches, and specifications provided by project engineers.
• Coordinate with project team members to ensure drawings meet project requirements and deadlines.
• Review and revise drawings based on feedback from engineers, architects, and clients.
• Incorporate changes and updates into drawings as needed throughout the design and construction phases.
• Maintain organized documentation of all drawings and revisions for reference and record-keeping purposes.
• Stay updated on industry standards, codes, and best practices related to structural drafting and concrete construction.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Structural Draftsman with a focus on concrete structures.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other drafting software.
• Strong understanding of structural engineering principles and construction methods.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines.
