Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated System Engineer to join our team. As a System Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our infrastructure environment, with a focus on Dell MX Blades, PowerEdge MX Network, PMAX Storage with Metro, Oracle RAC, VMware, and networking technologies. Knowledge of NSX and OpenShift is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain the Dell MX Blades and PowerEdge MX Network infrastructure.
- Configure and manage PMAX Storage with Metro for Oracle database systems.
- Establish and maintain Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) across two sites for high availability and disaster recovery.
- Manage and administer VMware virtualization technologies, including provisioning, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper integration and performance of the infrastructure components.
- Monitor and optimize network performance, ensuring high availability and scalability.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for infrastructure-related issues.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices, and make recommendations for infrastructure enhancements and optimizations.
- Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
