Job Description

Our mission is to deliver impactful learning initiatives that enhance performance of individuals and teams. The Learning & Development (L&D) Manager role will play an integral role in our new Training Academy and will be responsible for the design and delivery of learning programs to enhance colleagues’ skills, knowledge, and performance. The L&D Manager role involves establishing a strong partnership with the business, assessing the developmental needs to drive training initiatives, identify and arrange suitable training solutions for colleagues, and actively search, creatively design, and implement effective methods to develop and enhance performance. The L&D Manager will be responsible for analysing the training needs, designing as well as delivering courses both to internal colleagues and external training. Sourcing suppliers and working with key partners to ensure the training offered is world-class and fit for purpose. Monitoring and reporting engagement.

Key Responsibilities:



1. Training Program Development:



· Design and develop comprehensive training programs and materials that align with the company’s strategic goals.
· Evaluate individual and organizational development needs.
· Develop and implement learning strategies and programs that include e-learning, workshops, simulations, etc.

2. Implementation and Delivery:



· Conduct effective induction and orientation sessions for new hires.
· Deliver training sessions using various forms of learning methods including classroom training and e-learning
· Oversee the logistics of training sessions, including scheduling, materials, and participant communications.

3. Evaluation and Assessment:



· Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and learner outcomes.
· Use performance metrics to assess training needs and results.
· Modify and improve existing programs to ensure they meet the evolving needs of the organization.

4. Leadership Development:



· Create and manage leadership development programs to prepare high-potential employees for leadership roles.
· Provide coaching and mentoring to emerging leaders within the organization.

5. Monitoring engagement, reporting and continuous improvement



· Ensure all training programs comply with relevant regulations and organizational policies.
· Maintain detailed records of training sessions, participant progress, and outcomes.
· Review and analyse data ensuring you are always looking at ways to continually improve the learning offering
· You will responsible for ensuring all training data and LMS is kept up to date weekly and be part of helping to produce leadership reports to demonstrate business impact and colleague engagement with learning initiatives and platforms. •

6. Collaboration and Communication:



· Collaborate and regularly meet with managers and SMEs with department heads to identify training needs and solutions as well as ensure their teams are up to date with latest functional and technical (system related) training.
· Communicate training policies and procedures to all colleagues
· Regularly promote and foster a culture of continuous learning and development within Tahaluf.

7. Vendor Management:



· Manage relationships with external training vendors and consultants.
· Evaluate and select external training programs and resources as needed.

8. Budget Management:



· Develop and manage the training budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and maximum ROI.

Key areas of responsibility:



Onboarding: ensuring the onboarding training is fit for purpose on LMS
Compliance training: ensuring all mandatory training is completed by all.
Recruitment: working with Talent Acquisition to roll out hiring manager training
Performance: rolling out objective setting and feedback training
Data & reporting: updating the LMS on a weekly basis / pulling ad hoc reports
Tahaluf Way eLearn: train in RISE eLearn and evolving the eLearn over time
Event Management Course: train to be the key trainer in the certified course
Graduate Programme: acting at the key graduate trainer
External courses: key trainer in delivering the event management course

Qualifications



Essential



Fluent Arabic speaker Excellent written and spoken English

Education:



Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CPLP, PHR) is a plus.

Experience:



Minimum of 5 years of experience in Learning and Development or a related field, with a proven track record of developing and delivering training programs.

Skills:



· Strong understanding of instructional design and adult learning principles.
· Excellent communication and presentation skills.
· Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms.
· Strong project management and organizational skills.
· Ability to assess needs and develop relevant training solutions.
· High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and related business and communication tools.
· Strong collaboration mindset to create engagements across multiple levels of stakeholders.
· Must have established training design and delivery experience.
· Must have experience delivering training to all levels within organizations.
· Must have functional content creation experience (e.g. developing job-specific training content)

Desirable:



-Experience working within an Exhibitions environment
-Experience creating online learning (e-learning) content •
- Experience working with LinkedIn Learning
