Job Purpose / Objective
Provide assistance in translations to facilitate the communication.
Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities
- Translates and facilitates the communication between nursing staff, non-Arabic speaking physicians and patients, relatives.
- Answers phone calls regarding queries and other concerns without changing any OR booking, change of appointment or any other extra tasks not included in his/her job description.
- Controls traffic and public outside the doctor’s clinic.
- Demonstrates a high level of patience and professionalism in dealing with problematic/demanding patients or relatives.
- Maintains confidentiality regarding patients, family and hospital matters.
- Practices sympathetic and caring attitude towards the patient/family.
- Complies with all approved HMG policies and procedures.
- Collaborates with other nursing and non-nursing departments to accomplish given tasks as needed and approved by the DON and or Supervisor/Manager.
- Complies with the uniform policy.
- Works independently with minimal supervision and ability to create and manage databases.
- Participate in providing patient and family education.
- Participates in person-centered care initiatives undertaken by HMG.
- Enriches patient experience with compassion, respect and dignity.
- Translate medical reports or any other related documents
- Performs other applicable task and duties assigned within the realm of his/her knowledge, skills and abilities.
Education/ Professional Qualification
Experience
- Fresh / Minimum of at-least 1 year experience in any healthcare.
