Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your data science and AI expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative, collaborative, and forward-thinking teammates.
You'll contribute to Alstom’s Data Science and AI programs by developing, testing, validating, and industrializing data-driven solutions that enhance mobility. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (engineering, IT, and operations), design and deploy AI/ML pipelines, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of developing and maintaining AI/ML software modules to improve customer performance and experience, but also design scalable data solutions and ensure data quality and security.
We’ll look to you for:
Designing and implementing large-scale, production-grade AI/ML pipelines.
Leading the full end-to-end ML lifecycle, including development, deployment, monitoring, and optimization.
Defining, developing, and sustaining data solutions for industrial-grade applications.
Building multi-tenant data collectors, storage systems, and processing units.
Designing scalable data models (SQL and NoSQL) and improving data quality.
Developing customizable analytical dashboards and ensuring strong testing and quality assurance practices.
Staying updated on emerging technologies and contributing to continuous improvement.
All about you
We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:
Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Machine Learning, or a related field.
Experience in designing and deploying AI/ML solutions at scale.
Strong background in data engineering and pipeline development.
Proficiency in Python, SQL, and NoSQL databases.
Experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
Knowledge of data streaming tools like Kafka or Spark, and containerization tools such as Docker or Kubernetes.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-prem solutions.
Understanding of CI/CD and MLOps practices.
Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset.
Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and excellent communication skills.
