How do you set goals?what strategy would you use to accomplish your goal?would you use the same strategy to accomplish professional goals?

Let me first discuss about personal goals. In my opinion, goal is nothing but your desire output or destination. I would like to see myself in my house, so I have to set goal "Purchase House", for example. Where professional goals can be desire output by you or your superior. All your goals are unrealistic till you will not confine them with time bound. It is the crucial to set time bound to your goal, since you have to understand your skills and available resources.

One can use following strategy to achieve his/her sets goals. It is basic one but in my point of view very crucial one.

1. You have to analysis yourself or respect others opinion about where you made mistake. Take a step either to rectify it if possible or try to avoid in future.

2. Think about the availability of your resources like financial, manpower etc.

3. Always keep in mind the time bound you have. Since every second account to million dollar.

4. Think out of the box as many times the solution is laying underneath the problem. Try to avoid over confident about yourself since it will close the door for other options.

5. Foresee possible risk in future. Keep always plan for taking counter majors on worse situation with minimum loss.

6. Always closely monitor your action and modify those on timely basis.

Yes, you can apply same strategy to achieve your professional goals.
