what are possible accidental consequences of running bare earth conductor from the grid along cable trench also housing either the control cable or the power cable?
it will cause distortion. means distrubance in signal due to magnetic field.
WHAT KIND OF CONTROL CABLE...? Isolation between two diferent electrical power cables (12v and220v or etc. but ) must be good, cus in case of some ground work, some animals or somthing like that, that cables must not contact, if they do so you will get problem, like device set lower flows will be destroyed, fire, power shut down........ cabling is easy work, but do not take it lightly...
