resendtly I upgrad my OS form Kubuntu12.04 to Kubuntu14.04 then I try to get last update but I was facing this error "This operation cannot continue since proper authorization was not provided" Although I am admin on my PC
The root system that you updated installed in a different directory. So my recommendation get Kubuntu14.04as an iso and reinstall the system http://www.kubuntu.org/getkubuntu
