In the world of puzzle game marketing—the Patent Rights not adequately Protected—Here Under pricing - the best solution to withstand win the battle?

Rubik's Cube is a3-D combination puzzle invented in1974 by Hungarian sculptor and professor of architecture Ernő Rubik. Originally called the Magic Cube,[3] the puzzle was licensed by Rubik to be sold by Ideal Toy Corp. in1980 via businessman Tibor Laczi and Seven Towns founder Tom Kremer, and won the German Game of the Year special award for Best Puzzle that year. As of January2009,350 million cubes had been sold worldwide making it the world's top-selling puzzle game. It is widely considered to be the world's best-selling toy. Even Now the Market for Rubik’s Cube is quite unexplored.I would like to connect this with “Under pricing” and “Intellectual Property” –

Good Day!!!

As the patent is already expired and certain companies are prodcucing and selling the copies and even the customized versions. As the original company has already generated a huge revenue with the product, Under-pricing may further give them the strength to keep generating revenue.

I dont know if the company can prove the Rubik's ideas, manufacturing instructions and diagrams as their intellectual property?

Thanks for sharing the information about the Rubik's Puzzle with the Forum. It has added to my knowledge.I believe The Hungarian Sculptor Erno Rubik should apply for patenting this Puzzle Game if he has not done so far he has right to do it since it has been his brain child which has become so famous.

Probably under pricing is one strategy to deal with this scenario. But patenting with legal institutions is important so that no one else will produce or sell your intellectual property.

sorry, I missed this question. Appreciate the information shared by you. Patenting is a big and complex subject, I feel any law is as strong as one thinks it to be, not only patent but any law.

why ponder about puzzle game when IPHONE can be challenged, nothing is safe. If all Governments mutually develop and adhere to the law, peace prevails in true sense.

Patent should have no bearing on pricing.

Real costs in production, distribution and marketing should have a bearing on pricing.
