Where do you think treated municipal waste water should be dumped? Should it be used as irrigation? What about assets?

In the middle east water is a huge deal, and after treating municipal waste water, depending on the methodology used, it can be reused for irrigation purposes. As well it could be re-injected in groundwater to recharge them, as they are depleting due to oil companies. The phosphorous and nitrogen contents are favourable for irrigation, though they can cause reverse effect if in high concentrations. Economics should be studied if irrigation purposes are sought, though selling water for irrigation would be a good deal.

here, in Egypt we have Standards for getting red of treated wastewater not dumped if If treatment was sufficient enough the final effluent it dumped on others fresh or non fresh banks, but storage these water in the dry underground reservoirs for future use has harmful effect on the environment.

I believe it should not be dumped. If the STP has advanced technology to treat this water to the quality of potable water and reuse it by human or livestock . This solution is not preferable in middle east due to the conservative society and not acceptable psychologically. So, until we reach the required Environmental maturity we should storage these water in the dry underground reservoirs for future use. For the present, using treated water for irrigation and for toilet flush water are the most preferable solutions.
