Today, the importance of forgiveness is blossoming into a vital part of what is means to be healthy. Evidence shows that learning to forgive is better for our physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health.
Forgiving others allows us to overcome feelings of anger, bitterness, or revenge. Forgiveness can heal spiritual wounds and bring the peace and love that only God can give.

Talking of forgiveness, being a Muslim I feel we should always forgive people and my thinking developed due the process all of us follow in our lives. When we sin we seek forgiveness from ALLAH ALMIGHTY and our expectation should be that ALLAH will forgive us as ALLAH is the most kind. So when anyone ask us to forgive them we must also forgive them, that is one level. The next level comes when we forgive people for the sake of ALLAH even without people asking for forgiveness. In this materialistic world it is very difficult but nothing is possible. May ALLAH guide us all to the path of truth and rightness as prayed in Surah-e-Fatiha.
