Performance appraisal is usually based on KRA, however the KRA is a broad factor, you need the details of the KRA, Job Description and Standard Procedures, Performance appraisal is primarily based on your MBO and detailed in KRA. your KRA are defined in your Job evaluation procedure.Hope this will help you.

Dear Shahzad,

MBO: This method will be applicable to senior level, but not all level of staff.

KRA: Stable or market leader in the global village.

KPI: Rising organization.

In my organization, we are evaluating staff by360 degree Performance Management System.

Ralated to my experiences, the performance appraisal should focus on both KPI (inputted in the JD) and obejctives (MBO).
