People confuse just selling and making a sale. Do you believe its the same? And what do you consider the difference?

When selling a product you want to make sure the customer is satisfied when they walk out of the door you don't want to just make the sale and take the credit and have an angry customer. Please explain situations you were involved in that can help other people take important details and build on your experience.

Well, a salesman who is looking just to sell without taking inconsideration the customer satisfaction, HE WILL WIN, BUT for short term only then it will fire back at him.
while making a fair selling will guaranty a sustainable increaseing sales.

Correct, and as more and more customers recommend you.
It will help bring up profits and sales.
But when you are known for conducting a "hit and run" sale you will not only ruin your name but also the company name.
That is something alot of businesses do not focus on.

Hi, its a big difference between sell & sale ..like a Effect & affect ,Bear & Bare , anyways..SELL is transfer possessions,ownership of goods,or property in exchange for money while SALE is the process of selling goods & services. Well, it's a definitely a brief explanation but I am not  so certain how useful for a person who confuses "sell with sale":)

When you are hired to sell that prodcut so just sell it or otherwise dont join that company. You can make customer realize that product is your necessity and customer ll go happy  but again after some time he ll feel jackass. 

Yes its true just selling , ethically wrong but modern day business goes like that.

In customer service key point is not your product to sell but how to sell. Your good and charming behavior will urge the customer to visit you again and again and customer must purchase the thing even he/ she need that product or nor Strange but true

I believe selling is sale of a commodity and/or property for money but making a sale is to not just sell but to connect with your client. One should understand the needs of the client before suggesting a product. I believe there should be understanding and trust between the two parties before closing the sale. When the client trusts and agrees with you, he can even be a referral which is positive for you and your organisation.
