Yes and No. Shared Services when established in a country where the workforce in it is local creates a cultural differences while dealing with issues of employees who are working in other countries. It also gives rise to us vs them mentality within a company if geographically team is located in disperse. Executives needs to manage and monitor shared services model regularly for it to be classed as successful and should be ready to make changes as required.
