Each ERP systems has its strong points.
Having implemented several different ERP systems, my conclusion is that my preferred system depends on the business.
In a complex industrial environment I definitely prefer SAP, because of its wide variety of modules and its flexibility.
The negative sides of SAP are its complexity and prizing.
Oracle I prefer for non-industrial administrations.
It is easier for implementing budget-centred (governmental) financial administrations.
I also want to mention was Navision, I prefer for warehouse and retail environments.

SAP by far is the better solution here , however if you want to save money and you dont care about ROI or long term planning then you can choose oracle , microsoft or any  other "seconed rate" product

I think Oracle ERP is superior than SAP, Definately both are aquiring maxmimum market requirements,

But one major drawback of SAP is that it have to use oracle database as backend whilst it is more compatible with the same product.

In my opinion SAP is far superior than Oracle ERP but at the end it depends on the company requirement and feasibility.
