How to get auto voucher number that should not get changed when a new voucher is added in previous date?

I would like to know how to control the auto voucher number which should not get changed in case if we make a new voucher on previous date ?

If any type of voucher has to be added or inserted, in the main screen itself i.e voucher making screeen itself one butten called instert button has to be click and then add new voucher.
This is the way to proceed.

This could be doen in ERP oracle. (Open & Closed Period)

Don't let the voucher numbering depend on the document date, but on the data-entry date and time.

break the period of auto voucher on daily / weekly / monthly basis as per requirement instead of yearly basis.
