"You cannot live without the product/service" OR "Look at the product/service - how great it is"

Should I build a presentation of a product / service around 'how the product/service great is' or 'how much induviduals (potential costumers) need the product/service', which one is more important. Or, I just cannot ignore the audience and its needs, should I build the presentation for specific audience differently and particularly focus on "how much they need it".
