Treasury stock is stocks which company is buy it from market for lot of reasons one of these reasons is to raise the price of shares by reduse the shares in market anthor reason may be to withdraw the ownership of the share thanks

Very well answered . When a company starts buying its' own share it is called Treasury Stock. At times it does help a company to show the outer world how bash rich the company is .
