Although the growing economy of China is growing, The English Language remains the formal language of business. More and more people in the west are learning Mandarin to shorten the language barrier between the west and China but for the reason that the Chinese professional generation has low proficiency of English. What I see being living in Asia for many years is that the government is paying close attention to the English Language and is now a requirement in schools. Therefore, the demand for foreign teacher is actually on the rise in China, Hing King, Taiwan,japan, Korea, and Thailand. The new generation is under pressure to improve their English, Therefore, English Language is still thriving and no sign of slowing down.
