There is a common tradition that construction firms usually preferred people having more work experience thinking that they can work better and have more skills than limited time experienced candidates. In most circumstances  it is true that a more experienced person is more skilled and learned. But besides all these facts one must realize that the person which now has more experience also begun his career at level having no experience so the firms must also give chance to new job seeker so that they can find an oppurtunity to enhance and polish their skills and cappabilties.

Thank you. But for a b.tech civil engineer; for site engineering one year experience is enough. It's only my opinion. Why heavy experience needed for site engineering.

Four years is almost equivalent to a college degree. Onsite construction responsibilities are many faceted those with experience will take measure to avoid any problem from occuring, they can foresee the situation.

Inexpereinced construction manager will solve a problem but that will delay the construction phase. Therefore, an onsite training spanning 4 years on job will ensure perfect construction management. Less risk ,economical and timely completion will be ensured.

A one year experience is not enough  for construction practices before going out of your country. Try to make more experience in your homeland before going out so that your competetive advantage will be tough.
