What is static and dynamic ip address?

Manually configured or permanently assigned IP Address is Static IP Address and IP address which is assigned from a pool of IP addresses automatically is Dynamic IP Address

Static IP is one which is configured by a Network Administrator/ Engineer whereas Dynamic IP is assigned automatically from a DHCP Server.  

The static IP is assigned manually  by user or admin ,DHCP sever assigned by  dynamic IP

Static IP address is assign to machine manually that is mostly use for test or sharing and its shows as permenet address

Dynamic IP address is assign by server or Router (Layer 3 Device) and it will change after a duration of time which will be set by your system administrator

An Static IP Address is permanently assigned IP to a device for connecting to a developed network for sharing Data and resources. and does not change even device is restart.

Dynamic IP is as IP Address dynamically assigned by device from server end(DHCP Server). and its not permanent. Each time device trying to connect to Network server give a new IP from a IP Loop.     

A static IP address is an address that is permanently assigned to a device and does not change 

each time the device reboot, while a dynamic IP address is an address dynamically assigned 

to the device by a DHCP server and can change each time this device reboot.

Statci Ip addres are the address  which we assign manually in any device . where as Dyanmic ip address are the address which are assigned through DHCP server

static and dynamic IP got many differences.  Basically static IP states manually for a particular device but dynamic gets its automatic through DHCP for bulk of addresses among all devices.

Static IP is assigned manually to a device's network interface card by an admin. Dynamic IP is assigned automatically by a DHCP server from a set IP range on a network for a specified period of time.

There is a huge difference between Static and Dynamic IP Addresses

Static IP Address is assigned to a particular computer manually, this connection is more reliable and fast compare to Dynamic IP Allocation.

Dynamic IP Address is assigned automatically through DHCP server, which is preferable for bulk IP Address allocations not as reliable as static.

The IP which is assigned by Network administrator Manually is a static IP while the IP which is assigned by  By administrator from  a remote location through DHCP server is a dynamic IP.
