How do you market your self-published book?

I will focus on my readers as my way for marketing ..how is that?

I think “word of mouth” is the best advertising ( readers will bring more readers especially when they like the author)

 When I write a book I have to identify my target readers and making my book discoverable for them. Identify them by writing a profile of their interests and values in order to make a list of things to target them (websites they use, magazines they read, bookstores...)

I have to be professional in writing, editing, and production and be distinctive (choose a brand to promote my work)

I need to have a competitive price and my book must be easy to find

Finally , communicating with readers using social media and networks and ask them to evaluate my book

I've read that e-marketing brought high success when it comes to self-published books.

The best way to market the self published book is by listing on the various online selling stores with good preface.

Initially, I would go for on-line marketing first, reason being, it’s cheap, worldwide publication and access to large audience. Do transfer it into digital format with proper formatting and presentation and then share it with worldwide. Later, we can go for its manual printing, if required.
