 A test report or testing report specifies the correctness of the product as per written specification on contract document. Any deviation form the  specification must be clearly mentioned in the test report. In some cases, test report  also states   whether the product would serve the intended purpose or not. Normally, a test report is given by an independent  and recognized institution. In some instances, the test report is given by the in-house inspection Engineer or qualified professional. 

A testing report is the procedure of meeting the products all required size n shape as per drawings and also meeting the customers required certification about the products in order to attained customer satisfaction and which ensures the products workability.
