2. requires a well designed presentation or material

3. participants might pay more attention to the graphics than the audio

With every technology, there are both advantages and disadvantages.and the same applies to Audio video solutions. but regardless this technology has helped many individuals and universities to teach their curriculum in an effective way. Here are some of the advantages and disadvantages of using AV solutions

 

Advantages

  • The students/audience work with more zeal
  • help you teach accurate concepts
  • The visual experience is always better than a teacher bombarding the lesson from a book
  • Audio-Visual aids provide variety and provide different tool s in the hands of the teacher.
  • The use of audio-visual aids provides immense opportunities to the pupils to see, handle and manipulate things.        

 

Disadvantages

  • No matter how high-quality your system is, it will definitely have some technical glitches
  • Visual aids are more of a distraction if used throughout the entire presentation versus during key points
  • An audiovisual system is expensive
  • AV presentations can take a considerable amount of time to prepare
  •  AV systems can be bulky and difficult to handle and transport.
