What do you think are the most successful strategies for mobile commerce in the Arab World, and do you think that these strategies would work in another region of the world?

I think that the most important strategies are:

The user experience.Imagine a consumer wanting to purchase on your site.

Web or native app Type of solution   you want to deliver to your target customers.

Target platform.the right choice on platforms is important and depends on the usage of your target market and location of usage.

Security

Marketing:The challenge is to market the solution to generate maximum revenue. 

Value-added features.  This really depends on your business sector and what you think the users want.

I think that these strategies would work in any region in the world.

it is a good question, I believe now everyone in the Arab world is browsing the net over the mobile so not having a mobile optimized site or a mobile app will lose a lot of potential sales.

I will give you some tips that will help you in your strategy:

1. To me the most important thing is keeping things simple as much as possible.

2. Developing a native app increases responsiveness and speed of the app delivering the best user experience for the user.

3. Encourage social interactions.

4. Mobile exclusives; like waiving shipping fees on all orders from mobile.

5. Do experiments between multi designs.

6. Use Analytics.

7. Include device-specific features. Just having an app for app’s sake will only lead to short-term gains, if any. Including device-specific features like push notifications and Apple Pay will help drive user engagement and ultimately improve conversion within your app.

8. Give customers an incentive to download your app. The value of your app increases proportionately with the number of people you get to download the app. You will promote your awesome new app to your existing site visitors, customers and social media followers—folks that already are loyal or have familiarity with your brand.
