"Sales in" is an action that you "sell" your products to any member "in" your distribution channels like distributors or retail outlets.After that, distributors or retail outlets sell the product to end user that is customers. It is called "Sell out" (of distribution channel). Thanks for invite

sell out ( sells man go to customer ) sell in  ( customer com to sells man to showroom )

in my opinion big different between in & out because out is in the big market  but in is limited

Sell-in pertains to selling products to other distribution channels.

sell-out pertains to those distributors further selling YOUR items to end users/consumers.
