Have you ever experienced a change in supervision that resulted in conflict? Why does this happen?

There can be several reasons:-

1.  Resistance to change  by the persons who have new supervisor.

2.  Inadequate change management  and less time to prepare the people to new situation.

3.. New style of functioning of new supervisor.

4.  Improper communication across the spectrum of chain of functioning.

5.  Org Cultural  aspects not risk mitigated properly to this change paradigm.

6.  Poor briefing by previous supervisor.

Yes, several times I noticed this concept because most of the people does not prefer change if he.she is  in a good situation. Yet again, change in supervision would change in responsibilities and rules or regulations to some extent that might causes conflicts.
