key used to save the documents is control+s

ctrl+S is used to save the word document

first select the document of you want to save then go to file menu, as we see as save(ctrl+s) then it shows you to give a file name then give file name and click on save.

to save the document you should press Ctrl+S button

Open the Save as window in Microsoft Word. Shift + F12 saves the Microsoft Word document (like Ctrl + S). Ctrl + Shift + F12 prints a document in Microsoft Word. With an Apple running Mac OS 10.4 or later, F12 shows or hides the Dashboard.
