Investment in any sector in a country depends on understanding of business functionality with country's economy and regulations. However country's long term strategic plan can filter sectors which can be focused. For any country, investment in banking sector is regarded as safe as it is most regulated & transparent sector.

obviously, investors look primarely for returns without industry specialisation. in onther hand main investors are diversification "seekers" which mean that we will merely find an investor dedicated to only one sector.
