Of course, with or without the presence of you manager you can work and can be trusted and depended upon. It is like working without any supervision. Be proactive and have that initiative without even told to do so for any task. Integrity and work ethics matters most here.

It depends on the below circumstances:

1.    Clearance of my KPIs and job role.

2.    My manager’s absence period.

3.    Challenges and critical situation our department is facing during this absence as launching new project or extending phases.

Therefore, I need more clear question to answer with definite answer “Yes or No”.

Ali Riaz
by Ali Riaz , General Electrical Engineer , Alalfieh Alfedieh Technical Contracting LLC

A manager is one whose responsibility is to increase production rates and a good manager is the key for the grooming of a firm or Company. Although, being an electrical engineer, it is my responsibility for the maintenance and inspection of various equipment to work properly which is a major factor in the production rate. Still, I can manage things well as I have managed various projects in my field works and being appreciated by the administrations for the quality production and in time completion of targets by letting the other workers to work politely, heart fully and efficiently according to their capabilities to perform duties where one has his expertise. The selection of worker in the department where one has his strong grip is the major key for the growth of a company. for example; if an electrical engineer is asked to do survey of a bridge instead of a civil engineer then how could that company increase its rankings.

Higher official presence is not an important contribution factor on the productivity or performance of an employee, rather particular employee conciseness will decide.

Its not that my productivity or performance would decrease in the presence of my manager, but yes by the grace of God, I can work well even in the abscence of my manaager.
