Some people like regular books because of the smell of a brand new book, or the calming sound of a paper folding. Other like to see an old used book that's been read a lot because it might indicate that it's a well written book. So, what makes you choose regular books over electronic books or even audio books?
Reading regular paper books increases focus and doesn't harm eyes as well. while reading on screen divert one's attention to other things (just my opinion).
For a new subject, I prefer audio books/video tutorial that give you quick way of learning but book reading is required if you need deep dive.
