As a dominant race, we are all looking for knowledge everywhere, formally or informally, and with no doubt, education is the key of progression and development. Previous and present nations/civilizations have been built by educated people or at least knowledge seekers, and of course future generations are taking the lead.

I think self-education works better with formal education, a lot of people self-educate themselves after college. Beside  learning real-life skills formal education enable you to master the subject through practical work e.g., laboratory and field work, and don’t forget that there are certain fields of study can't be achieve by self-learning e.g., medicine. Employers also are looking  for people with college degree, people cannot walk into an interview and say they read about it and feel they can do the job.

I disagree. We have proper education which is learning inside of the classroom and we have improper learning which is learning from your environment or self studies. So speaking on progress of individual is not only focus, rely on classroom education obtain but outside and his environment or self studies. The only difference in these two is that, classroom education is formal and recognize, accredited by authorities where as improper education is not. However the progress of ideas sometimes the same or sometimes excellent in other ways. There are individual excel in many fields without diploma and so those with diploma. "Without education is without progress", this argument can be re butt by many individuals who are successful  without diploma. Thus, without education is not necessary the gauge of progress for every individual. thanks.

I completely agree with it. It is very important for a person to constantly learn something new. In general, I have always had problems with mathematics, and now I practically don't need it, but nevertheless I found maths private tuition singapore, and I want to start studying with a teacher as soon as possible.
