What type leave of absence is for the employee that is requesting time to resolve day care matters for there child?

Depending on company policy, it could be annual leave or casual leave. Or if employee is away for only few hours maybe company could give him/her the option of doing overtime and covering up for those hours. Or another option if employee has no leave balance then it could be leave without pay.
