Quality Assurance is process oriented and Quality control is product oriented. QC is a procedure or set of procedures intended to ensure that a manufactured product or performed service adheres to a defined set of quality criteria or meets the requirements of the client or customer. Testing for quality isn't assuring quality, it's controlling it. QA makes sure you are doing the right things, the right way.
