Yes, I would definitely ask my group members about the decision, as this action will make group members think that they also can add value to the decision. and sometimes it also happens that a group members give you such a view/suggestion of which you have no though off. You may implement is view/idea/thought by polishing it.

Yes. decision making is not a solo phenomena. We should include our team members to get great results and share the  results.

for creative ideas. Decision making shouldnt be taken alone. There should be input of ideas and thoughts
