Blending is always good, but visuals are always the most attractive!

All are useful mediums but it depends upon the product or service.
For B2C i prefer LinkedIn n twitter and for B2C Facebook has worked great for me.
Determine your target market and then target them where they are mostly available at the right time .
For any of these mediums proper targeting and timing is critical to get desired results.

Today successful social media marketing campaigns are having blend of the all the platforms, targeting different audience type using visual, short message and videos.
All platforms are having great possibilities of taking the content viral.
Presentation and timing is the key, you should know the when traffic influence is high and connect the dots to complete the story.

It depends according your target audience and the product/service you are promoting/marketing.

This depends on the service target In the case of direct sales, the best is Facebook - here I'm talking about MENA region

It depends on what your social Marketing way Words and Pictures or Clip Words and Picture work for both You tube , Facebook etc Clip work for Youtube , Justin TV

I am afraid there is no best channel.
This goes back to the golden questions of social media "Which social media platforms are most suitable for your brand or organization?" and "Where are your target audience?" It might be all of them, and believe it or not, it might be none of them! Good luck!

Valid Question ! I think it is the right thinking to select a medium rather than try to be on multiple mediums, so i feel this question is relevant and valid.

Marketers today face a challenge, a challenge to follow their high-value customers. Now, each person is marketing something or the other, whether it is a blog, a twitter account, facebook interactions. Follow your high-value customers by finding out which mediums they use, what they do on these medium, how they interact on these mediums.

There is no point in being on mediums where your high-value customers are not present.
