I have found that objectives are required to achieve the strategy stated, however we need to check wither we have an effective strategy so we can find the smart objectives (Stratgic).

However, that is only the start.......:)

Hi, are different. Managing objectives depends on the focus on achieving the goal set by the senior management. The focused business management depends on the expansion based on the competitive advantage of the institution

MBO or management by objective is a management style and is defined in Leadership topic.
by means a manager or leader sets his first priority on objectives.
But the strategy is a general concept which illustrates the roadmap to achieve the targets.

Though similiar , they are not exactly parts of a whole....Management by Objectives can be described as a "PROCESS" whereby the superior and subordinate jointly identify its common goals, define each individual's major areas of responsibility in terms of the results expected of him, and use these measures as guides for operating the unit and assessing the contribution of each of its members whereas, a Strategy focused organisation would be a strategy driven performance management focused organisation which is sucessfully able to translate Strategy into operational terms , align the people at all levels with the organisational strategy, make strategy everyones everyday job , and being able to mobilise change through executive leadership making Strategy a continual process ideally using a Balanced scorecard (BSC), which is a strategy performance management "FRAMEWORK " or a TOOL - a semi-standard structured report, supported by design methods and automation tools, that can be used by managers to keep track of the execution of activities by the staff within their control and to monitor the consequences arising from these actions
