Is putting hands in your pockets a sign of a lack of confidence, or does it have another meaning to body language experts?

I think part of it depends on the weather.  Obiously if it cold, one tends to put your hands in your pocket.

This is also a sign of being secretive, not willing to reveal too much about oneself in a group of people. Or he could be unsatisfied with his self image, his looks, his clothes.

It could also mean that the person is stingy, reluctant to spent or give money. Or that they might be sweating and hiding the sweat ordors.

Yes, also lack of confidence can be ascribed to hands in the pocket.  But you have to consider the situation you find yourself in.

At times it could be the person is playing with himself, masturbating.

Others may see it as a sign of lying when asked a question.

So, a lot of things could be read into it, like I say, depending on the situation or circumstances

hi friends. for me i will respnse you .so  putting hands in your pockets  is sign of lack of confidence but in reality for me is need to help him in confiance therm .because  this lack reflete his need to get confiance so be sure that he wants to explain his insurance for you and for things
