There is no such command limit, if you are Searching for limits command please find the Explanation below LIMITS is to define the parameters (size) of the drawing environment.
In other words, what are the outer "limits" of your drawing area? The LIMITS command defines this area.

There is no such command as (LIMIT) however there is a command called DRAWING LIMITS this allows you to configure the size of the drawing space in AutoCAD.
Command: LIMITS Reset Model space limits: Specify lower left corner or [ON/OFF] : Specify upper right corner : Note not to be confused with the command BASE
