as a matter of fact , Bayt is #1 job site in the Middle East. if you are looking for a job online, Bayt is one of the best sites specially in GCC where a large number of employers are using Bayt for searching. this is a fact i'm quite sure about it
the other fact is that I'm using Bayt sine long time , but never been called or shortlisted through Bayt.
let me share with you my experinece as I'm actively looking for a job.
I have been applying to positions online, applying to positions listed on job boards, and I have had my resume sent out to different search sites, firms, consultants, etc.., but I am not getting replies :(.
Recently I got to believe that you must be very lucky to get a job through recruitment sites even if you have a very good profile, this is du to two reasons, the larg number of people applying. and "unfortunately" the fact that is still in the ME "People are Hiring People ( 99% of Hiring is done through connections).
most of the companies prefer o hire people they already know, or recommended from inside, or from partners, vendors, etc .. thatswhy most of the time companies put an Ad on a site but they hire even before thier Ad is published :)
My dear colleagues,The first time and I think the last time I'll give my opinion.I honestly do not need to expect to recruit over bayt.com. For me it is problematic when I read quote: Promote to the top. If I'm at100 place, how is it possible that if you purchase a $40 [Promotion credits at $40.00] maturity at1-5 places?I think it's a game figures. Multiply $40, with say average number of applications and the order of3000?All I can do is to conclude:My Ranking Based on Relevancy is unrealistic, with intent to compel me to pay Promotion credits and I will not, from principles. If I have good qualifications and comply with all the ads from the employer, then it needs to be demonstrated. That's my opinion.Everything else I though very naive, very interesting and fun.Sincerely
I have been contacted by two companies through bayt.com, but they were fake !!! I have reported them to the website admin , and asked them if they are doing any screening of the job offers, They have replied back but didn't provide me with any relevant answer :(
I have been on bayt since6 months and no calls so far for me too .But I have been told that we need to refresh or update the CV everyday so that it is given preference and infact I did notice that there were2 employers who noticed my CV .Coincidence or not ?? i am not sure....!!!!
I can't say an outright YES or can l give a NO too.Baytcom is a business entity and according to my assesssement have their clear agenda,make MONEY.l don't for instance need to promote my position to the top through paying an amount of hard earned and scarce $'s.Where on mother Earth do l get the money to do so when l am sweating to get a job that gives me the money?lt is a game and l am not sure,but l need to be corrected if l am wrong,an ideal candidate for a job stands out heads and shoulders above all other competitors without any promotional payment.

It's not all bad, you might get lucky and get a job until then you can take the opportunity to meet some new people and hear their thoughts, opinions, experiences ... It's nice to meet people and maybe find some new friends. :)
Yes, i am one of those lucky people, who got a job call through bayt.com/......After my graduation, within2months,My first ever company had contacted me for the position as HR assistant and i worked with them for4years and got promoted to Finance and HR officer position.
So, yes i got a job using bayt.com.
I have not received a single call from Bayt in almost2 years. It might be the top employment website in Middle East but with things like "promoting your application", which costs a good amonut of money, it looks like that bayt only provides jobs to people who already have money. Person who can pay more can get noticed easily and as a result has a better chance of getting a job.
