To measure and calculate ROI of online marketing and and social media marketing,you have to analyse data on how much you have invested in SM(Social media) and how much this has benefitted you,as compared to before .The calculations are as follows,

Social media ROI = (SM return – SM investment) / SM investment percent.

The ideal scenario is to have SM return higher than SM investment thereby signifying the efficacy of the SM campaign
