First, you need getting trained more than you already know. Learn and look for licensed training center recognized by autodesk and get training courses for Autocad. Second, practice and practice more by getting hired on a job that you know your skills be challenged so that you can gain more knowledge and expertise in the said skill. Lastly, educate yourself as time goes by. Explore the software more by checking the available commands,, learn shortcuts that you just seen and know how it can benefit you and to do you work easily; be involved also in a group or organization wherein you can share and at the same tiime learn from other experts to improve and gain more knowledge. I hope this one helps you in developing your Autocad skills.

Know the basic commands in autocad and you will never be lost in the vast mountain of commands that autocad has. When you have learned it, newer commands will be easier. Then try to incorporate shortcuts to commands. Now if you mastered the basics, learn the autocad programming.
