How can consumers be engaged in sustainable behavior?

It is very important to EDUCATE  consumers on sustainable behavior - what is right or wrong and its consequences and that should start from primary schools with young children so that they grow up with this mindset. 

By drawing attention with very strong, powerful  and intelligent messages that catches interests. This should be creative and eye catching. 

Companies and Authorities should engage genuinely , firmly and visibly in sustainable behavior policies leading the way and ensure that employees and citizens are participating. They should motivate employees and citizens with competition, prizes, recognition and public acknowledgement. 

Create a positive vision on sustainable behavior by highlighting Green energy, Green technology and recycling. 

Moving towards the goal of sustainability requires fundamental changes in human attitudes and behaviour. Progress in this direction is thus critically dependent on education and public awareness.
