Writing has many benefits. Relief from stress is one of them. Psychiatrists also suggest some patients of stress to write down what they have in mind, when they feel stress on their mind.

writing is something like a diary. where you write things or events u love and want to say but you cant directly say impromptu. its a good stress reliever for those who intend to speak for themselves alone.

It's not a good way to relieve stress, it's a great one. Writing helps ventilate all that is being jammed inside your chest or head. It's just like when you talk to someone about your problems, difficulties, emotions; the tension within you eases. Writing does the same to you.

It also has an advantage over speech. When you write, you express exactly what you're thinking/ feeling in a given moment. But there's nobody to listen to it. Hence, there's no judgement. It is an endless flow of the words that are struggling to come out of you.

Yes it is.

The process of writing about problems, concerns or other emotional worries can be help release the anxious state from the person out into the words - this is very therapeutic.

Writing can make things become very clear.  It can also help the writer to see what needs to be done, or what needs to change or even what really is going on.  Maybe there are lessons to learn or things we have to let go of.  Writing is a means of letting go of frustrations without affecting loved ones or harming the self.

Writing can be a tool which gives your fears room to breathe and to actually stare them in the face, step back at what you've written and evaluate your situation and the troublesome areas of your life.

Or you can totally write about something totally unrelated to problems which takes you into a zone no-one can reach but you.

Writing is a good way to put your thoughts on paper and to see them. It clarifies your thinking and it makes it more obvious. I agree it's a good way to relieve from stress because you concentrate on the task and you forget things that are bothering you. It's even better if one has a talent in writing and he/she can write stories!

Writing in itself can also be stressful if one really means it.  However in order to reduce stress someone who finds it interesting writing can use it as a means of reducing stress. In fact in this world which is full of stress everywhere, trusting in God and realizing that he bears all burdens and that He loves us even the most interesting things will certainly look stressful to us. Therefore let us take things cool and believe that life is how you make it. Thank you.
