Marketing is A passion for me .. I want to make it right and be more in it .. where should I start .. "Sales" is good .. but no I want the marketing department . including sales .. maybe a marketing account executive .. what else can I have ?! .. I want to work in that specialty for my whole life
I would like to advise you to start with sales function . I'm a strategic marketing and brand management professional but I have considerable experience in sales department . This sales management experience contributed so much to my marketing management career . Without sales experience , you will have difficulties to communicate with the "field" . You should have sales notion in order to be a great marketer . You should be a sales executive , key account manager , assistant sales manager .Learn how to "sell" something before how to market it . Good luck ..
I think where you start isn't as important as just starting. Now, you'll learn the industry from the inside. You're new, maybe you'll want to work in Marketing forever, maybe you won't. Maybe Marketing will want you to work in Marketing forever, maybe it won't - it might not be your choice where you work. Keep learning, and learn transferable skills - skills you can use in other companies, jobs, fields: presenting, speaking another language, cloud computing...
You should have to start with an local company in your local area and get experience and than think about something big and effective,
