BOSS IS ALWAYS RIGHT** DO YOU THINK THIS OLD IDEA STILL EXIST IN 2014 ?

No. The boss is always right in exercising authority he was endowed with BUT it needs some nuances.

 

A good boss is sometimes right and sometimes wrong, acknowledging that admitting wrongs is a first step towards righting them. A bad boss who's clinging to old authoritarian styles of management is always wrong in thinking that being a boss is the same as being bossy, and always right in providing a proof of how bad his management style is of which he's the embodiment by always being right.

 

TIME IS CHANGED,,, OLD DICTATORSHIP MANAGEMENT THEORIES are not working in2014,,, if this idea exist some where, the organisation will be in hot waters by this approach,,, now you have to listen all your team, include them in decisions.

Yes if he take the full responsibilities

The idea that a boss can ALWAYS be right is not a valid one. No one is perfect and sure enough all bosses make mistakes. Good bosses are those who learn from them and do not repeat the same mistakes.

Yes,If the boss is a true leader his decisions are opinion based.

It is possible that the boss can always be right. By taking into account the inputs of his/her subordinates, peers, superiors, and all other stakeholders he/she is assured of always making correct business decisions. Sadly this is often not the case !!

this phrase has no relevant in Multinational companies where the decision are made on board levels having expertise. It is just still apply in sole proprietorship only.
